The 2000 acres of the Lucky Star Ranch are home to countless species of birds, which you and your group can enjoy during your visit.  They include the northern cardinal, blue jay, downy and hairy woodpecker, red-winged blackbird, tufted titmouse, dark-eyed junco, mourning dove, northern mockingbird, American robin, and the majestic and protected symbol of America, the bald eagle.

Following are some short descriptions of a few of these birds, with information from the National Audubon Society. These pages were generated from a report on "Lake Ontario Migratory Song Birds: Site Summary" commissioned by Lucky Star Ranch. This report will give you an overview of birds you can find while you are here. If you see any birds not listed in the categories below please inform us upon your departure.
